Long Term Care Facilities

Reliable oxygen delivery to your residents so they can continue living their lives.

Oxygen therapy is known to help residents move around more easily, improve their quality and length of life and reduce depression and unhappiness.

Reliable Oxygen Delivery

Some of the residents at your facility may require oxygen therapy in order to continue enjoying their everyday activities. VitalAire will work closely with your staff and residents to setup the equipment, train and educate on the safe and proper use of the equipment.

Our dedicated clinicians will communicate with healthcare teams, whether it is nursing staff, a physician, or members of a patient’s family and will provide the facility and physicians with written clinical assessments of the patient, complying with the facility’s charting requirements.

If it is deemed that oxygen therapy is required, we will create a custom delivery plan for your residents with scheduled or as-needed drop offs so there is minimal effort required from facility staff and you can focus your attention on where it's needed most.

We're Available 24/7

No matter what time of day or night, we are here for you. Our oxygen support lines are active all day, every day. Whether it's a storm, blackout, flood or any number of natural disasters, you can count on us to make sure your residents are safe and have the oxygen they need.

Long term oxygen therapy helps reduce hospitalization days by 38.5%, especially among COPD patients who begin their long term oxygen therapy as outpatients.

Reduce Hospitalizations

Our goal is to ensure your residents are living safe, fulfilled lives. With supplemental oxygen therapy, it is possible to reduce the number of hospitalizations due to acute COPD exacerbations that can occur in a long term care setting.

Hospitalizations can be costly and highly unpleasant for residents, who may become exposed to dangerous viral and bacterial infections in a hospital setting. Proving oxygen therapy in a safe and secure homecare environment, may reduce the need for a hospital visit.

With a prescription from a doctor and support from our highly trained clinical team, we will work with you to find the solution that's right for your residents.

Training And Education

We want to make sure that your staff are comfortable and confident using and setting up oxygen therapy equipment. In addition to in-person training, VitalAire has created training modules on critical topics related to oxygen therapy and respiratory care. To begin the training, click on each of the titles below. Once the modules are complete, you can download your certificate of completion.
