In Ontario, the provincial government helps you pay for your APAP, BiPAP, or CPAP machine with funding that is available through the Assistive Devices Program. Almost everyone who has sleep apnea is eligible, and once you choose your machine, we will automatically deduct the government’s portion for you.
Most private insurance policies provide coverage for CPAP therapy and let you select the CPAP machine, mask, and accessories that are right for you.
Additional government funding for CPAP supplies may be available to those who are eligible, through the Veteran Affairs Canada (VAC) and Non Insured Health Benefits (NIHB).
