Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP)

Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) is the standard treatment 1 for obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.

How does it work?

While you sleep, you wear a small mask that covers your nasal and/or mouth area that is connected to a CPAP machine that provides a continuous supply of mild air pressure to keep your airways open.

Why should I use it?

There are many significant positive benefits from using CPAP therapy including reduced snoring, increased daytime energy, improved concentration, and mental alertness, lower blood pressure, and reduced risk of heart disease and stroke.
