- Tend to sleep on their backs
- Are mouth breathers
- Have regular nasal congestion
- Patients with a high-pressure prescription
- Nasal CPAP masks: Lighter in weight and cover or cradle over your nasal area. Nasal masks are best for patients who:
- Move often throughout the night
- Have unique facial features
- Patients with a high-pressure prescription
- Nasal Pillow CPAP masks: Sit directly under your nose and use two soft pillows that provide direct airflow into your nostrils. Pillow masks are best for patients who:
- Who find full face masks challenging to wear
- Have facial hair
- Patients who wear glasses or who prefer to wear their masks to watch tv/read before falling asleep
